So they’ve only gone and done it again - H&M are virtually unstoppable when it comes to designer collaborations.  The Italian power house has teamed up with the Swedish retail giant to produce a collection of clothing, accessories and homeware.  In 2008, Donatella Versace stated, “ I think to put the Versace line in H&M would confuse the brand.” But boy are we glad the creative director had a change of heart!  Today, her thoughts on the collaboration,  ”I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere”.
The collection won’t be available until Autumn, but be sure to expect lots of gold, leather and ultra feminine clothes. These images give a sneak peak as to what to expect from the collection and here at C&S we’re completely sold already. There will also be a range for men and all will be available online.

Lanvin, Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo are just some of the luxury brands to bring their designs to a wider audience through the high street store and each collaboration has been hugely successful. You only have to look at the queues at any store on launch days to see that H&M are on to a winning formula and long may they continue!
