CARDIGANS JUST GOT SEXY: Mark Fast – the saviour of knitwear

Written by on 27 March 2011 in Fashion - 1 Comment

If you don’t know about Mark Fast then let me be the first to introduce you!

Mark Fast is the absolute authority in knitwear and (believe it or not) has actually made cardi’s cool again. Although Canadian born, Mark studied at Central Saint Martins here in London for five years, and as such us Brits have taken him to our hearts. A favourite here at C+S, Mark has collaborated with Stuart Vevers for Loewe, Christian Louboutin, Swarovski, Pinko and Topshop.

Mark designs his knits by hand and then forms his designs onto the body as he knits allowing the garment to fit to perfection.

The ‘Faster’ dress as shown above showcases Mark’s genius. His ability to make knitwear both couture and wearable for every day is just fab. And you’ll be pleased to find that his collection comes with an affordable price tag…
