So Sunday was date night and we went for dinner at Yauatcha in Soho. The Glamazons in London know how difficult it has been to dress in this unpredictable weather we’ve been having this ‘summer’ (total NIGHTMARE!!!) !!! And date night was no different; I didn’t want to wear jeans or anything casual, I wanted to wear something smart, sexy relaxed and effortless that was more fitting to who I am. I really wanted to wear a dress however I chose not to risk being uncomfortable or unprepared for Mother Nature. As dinner was booked for around 6-ish I also really wanted to wear something that would be able to make that transition from day to night.
Building My Outfit – I chose my leather trousers for a sexy edge, I wanted to feel sexy however as I still wanted to have a romantic feel to my outfit I decided to team it up with low dip hem jersey top from ASOS. What I love most about that top is it’s movement; In the wind it give such a romantic silhouette as it floats around & behind you (even when you’re walking it floats behind and looks amazing). On my feet I wore my beloved Zara basic sandals to ensure my outfit remained feminine and to balance the aggression that leather trousers naturally give off. I painted both my nails and toe nail in a ruby red to add a soft sultry tone to the outfit. I kept accessories to a minimal with a pair of hoops to add a little attitude, a couple of bracelets, a few edgy rings and of course my Mulberry Bayswater bag.
let me know your thoughts …. P x
